Northstar Industries, Inc. is a ISO Q9001-2000 certified
black oxide facility located in Tiffin, Ohio

The black oxide treatment process reduces the corrosion process that occurs with untreated steel parts.  This is done without changing the surface properties or dimensions, no material is added.  All exposed internal and external surfaces are treated and the treatment can be easily removed and re-blackened.  The process is only for ferrous steel alloys, it does not treat stainless steel or aluminum.

Northstar Industries, Inc. offers a free pickup and delivery service within a 60 mile radius of Tiffin.  We ask that a pickup be scheduled with our office 24 hours prior to the scheduled date.  Customers located south of Tiffin will be visited on Mondays, and the northern route will be run on Wednesdays.  Delivery will automatically be the following week unless prior arrangements are made.  We also ship UPS daily, and are open for customer pickup 8am to 4pm.

Our scheduled run days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.  We can process orders the same day if received by 11am.

Our line will accommodate up to 48" lengths and 24" widths. Please call if you're not sure your parts will fit.

Pricing

There is a $30.00 flat fee for orders of less than 20 pieces and/or 100 pounds.
There is a $60.00 flat fee for orders of 21 to 40 pieces and/or 101-200 lbs.
Jobs over 40 pieces or 200 lbs. will be quoted, and may fall into one of the above categories depending on complexity.
